Minecraft Live 2024 announcement

Minecraft authors in 2024 have "finally heard" the community. Mojang recently announced that it has revised its approach to the game's development - updates will be more frequent rather than "one major one per year", and the creators are giving up voting for a new mob (these elections often became a boiling point for the community and led to disputes and digital protests).

The format of the Minecraft Live developer presentation is also changing - now they intend to hold it twice a year. The next broadcast is expected on September 28 (Saturday), the beginning is scheduled for 20:00 Moscow time.

It is expected to show new content that is not presented in the experimental versions and tell about some "secret stuff" (it is not yet clear what is meant by this). After the main part of the presentation there will be an additional part, during which the developers themselves will play and show the audience the new content "in action".
