Features of the Desert Update mod

This mod completely transforms desert and mesa biomes by adding new surfaces, unique blocks, and even sandstorms. Now, during thunderstorms, intense sandstorms will occur in deserts, limiting visibility.

In addition, massive sand spikes appear underground, and standard stone has been replaced with special rock variants, including new deep-layer blocks in Minecraft PE (Bedrock).

Structures and Dungeons

There are now two new structures in the desert containing mysterious sand with valuable treasures. However, there are no structures in the swamps; instead, a new underground biome has appeared—Topaz Caves.

These caves contain rare resources and are unique underground areas in Minecraft PE (Bedrock) with their own distinct features.

Weapons and Items

Powerful two-handed swords—cleavers—have been added to the game; they function similarly to the Sweeping Edge enchantment in the Java edition. New materials have also been introduced: amber, which is stronger than diamonds, and scorpion items, which are more effective than iron and useful against modified blocks.

In addition, deadly scorpions can now be found in the deserts of Minecraft PE (Bedrock), and their stingers can be harvested to craft weapons.
