  • The Disastrous Dunes mod for Minecraft PE (Bedrock) updates the desert and mesa biomes, adding new blocks, mechanics and creatures. Explore the modified biomes, encounter sandstorms and discover new dungeons.

Features of the Desert Update mod

This mod completely transforms the desert and mesa biomes, adding new surfaces, unique blocks and even sandstorms. Deserts will now have massive sandstorms during thunderstorms, limiting visibility.

In addition, massive sand spikes appear underground and standard stone has been replaced with special rock variants, including new deep layered blocks in Minecraft PE (Bedrock).

    Structures and Dungeons

In the desert you can now find two new structures containing mysterious sand with valuable finds. But in the mesa there are no structures, but instead there is a new underground biome - Topaz Caves.

These caves hide rare resources and are unique underground zones of Minecraft PE (Bedrock) with their own features.

    Weapons and items

Powerful two-handed swords - claymores- have been added to the game, working on the principle of the Java version of the Sweeping Edge enchantment. There are also new materials: amber, which surpasses the strength of diamonds, and scorpion items, which are more effective than iron and useful against modified blocks.

In addition, in the deserts from Minecraft PE (Bedrock) can now be found deadly scorpions, from which are extracted valuable stings for creating weapons.

    Additional features

Disastrous Dunes makes desert and mesa biomes more dangerous and interesting to explore. With new storms, structures and underground zones, every journey into these biomes will be an exciting challenge.
