Take A Seat is a lightweight addon for Minecraft PE (Bedrock) that gives you the ability to sit on ladders, half-blocks and logs. To land just click on the block without activating it with any other function. Great for building houses, arenas, and roleplaying scenes without having to use commands or experiments.

Addon Features Sit on Steps

You can now sit directly on any half-block, step or log by simply clicking on them. The addon does not use commands or complex interfaces - everything is implemented as simple as possible and similar to the built-in mechanics. This makes sitting a natural part of the gameplay in Minecraft PE (Bedrock).

How the sitting system works

To sit in Minecraft PE (Bedrock), all you need to do is interact with the block without performing vanilla actions - don't hold tools or other items that can affect the block. A special "sitting" entity is installed inside, to which the player is automatically transplanted. It is removed at the slightest displacement, eliminating bugs and dips into the void.

Examples of world application

Such functionality will be useful on servers, in role-playing worlds, when creating cafes, arenas, spectator areas or just cosy rooms in Minecraft PE (Bedrock). This adds liveliness to the buildings and allows players to interact with the environment, not just run around it. The addon doesn't change the familiar blocks, it just gives them new functionality.

Support and stability

Take A Seat uses stable Script APIs and works without including experimental features. Minecraft Bedrock versions 1.21.60 and higher are supported. After the updates, a bug has been fixed where the player could fall into the void when interacting with water. Now the entity automatically disappears in case of any glitches.
