Nearby Mobs is a minimalistic but useful mod for Minecraft PE (Bedrock) that shows subtitles with the names of nearby mobs right on your screen. This helps you navigate the environment and track the activity of mobs even out of sight, just like in Java Edition with subtitles enabled.

Features of the Mobs Nearby mod

After installing the mod, subtitles will be displayed at the bottom of the screen indicating which mobs are nearby. The system reacts only to moving entities and excludes objects such as experience and items. Works stably on the latest versions of Minecraft PE (Bedrock), does not require the inclusion of experimental features and does not interfere with getting achievements.

How mobs display works

When an active mob appears within detection range, its name is instantly displayed at the bottom of the screen. You can learn in advance about approaching dangers or detect hidden creatures in caves. This system is similar to the subtitles in Minecraft Java, but adapted for the mobile version and uses the built-in resources of the Minecraft PE (Bedrock) game.

Known limitations

If custom titles appear in your world (for example, when running commands), they may conflict with the Nearby Mobs display and disappear quickly. Also, the mod does not support displaying items or experience, so as not to create unnecessary visual load. Otherwise - a stable and lightweight add-on for survival and surveillance in Minecraft.
