The Water & Temperature System mod for Minecraft PE (Bedrock) adds two interconnected survival meters to your world: temperature and thirst. A new thermometer interface and water meter will appear next to the hunger bar. You’ll have to protect yourself from hypothermia in snowy tundras and avoid heatstroke in scorching deserts.

Features of the Temperature System mod
Your character's temperature in Minecraft PE (Bedrock) changes dynamically. The system scans the blocks around you, taking into account the biome, altitude, whether there is a roof overhead, and heat sources (campfires, lava, furnaces). Your armor also plays a role: leather armor provides excellent protection against the cold, but iron armor in the desert will cause you to overheat.

Thirst Mechanism and Water Purification
In Minecraft PE (Bedrock), your thirst meter depletes when you run, jump, or regenerate health. In deserts and the Nether, water is consumed twice as fast! If your thirst level drops to zero, you will start taking damage. You can quench your thirst with fruit, soup, or simply by drinking water, but drinking from untreated sources is dangerous (there is a 20% chance of poisoning).
How to create a flask
To survive, you'll need a Water Canteen, which can be crafted from leather and string in Minecraft PE (Bedrock). You can fill it with dirty water from any body of water and then purify (boil) it over a campfire or in a furnace. Purified water is safe to drink and also provides a bonus to your health regeneration.
