Features of the Nautilus Concept mod

This add-on brings to life one of the most anticipated mobs shown at the recent Minecraft LIVE. You will be able to encounter Nautilus in all ocean biomes. Not only will it become your faithful companion, but it will also give you the unique "Nautilus Breath" effect, which stops oxygen consumption underwater and speeds up block destruction. The mod does not require experimental features to be enabled, but it is only compatible with Minecraft PE (Bedrock) version 1.21.111 and above.

How to tame and use Nautilus

Finding and taming this cute underwater creature is not difficult, but you will need some bait. Once tamed, it will become your indispensable assistant in exploring the depths of the sea.

The taming process

Nautilus spawn in oceans in groups of 1-2 individuals. To attract their attention, you can use any fish, but to tame them, you will need a pufferfish or a bucket with a pufferfish. After successfully taming them, you can put a saddle on the Nautilus and set off on a journey through the underwater world of Minecraft PE (Bedrock).

Breeding and travel

Tamed Nautilus can be bred with any fish. By riding your new friend, you will not only gain the ability to move quickly underwater, but also receive a useful buff that will allow you to breathe and dig faster, making exploring sunken ships and ruins much more comfortable.

Armor for your companion

You can find five types of armor for your Nautilus: copper, iron, gold, diamond, and nezirite. This armor not only protects your pet, but also gives it a stylish look. It is important to note that armor cannot be crafted — it can only be found in treasure chests, sunken ships, and underwater ruins.

Zombie Nautilus Rider

Be careful, because there is now a new enemy in the oceans—the Zombie Nautilus, ridden by a drowned man with a trident. This hostile mob attacks players and other creatures, just like a regular drowned man. It spawns under the same conditions as drowned men, with a 20% chance, and poses a serious threat to careless explorers.
