On September 27, 2025, the developers showed us a new Minecraft update! We had been waiting for this event for six months! And here it is: nautilus, spears, and more.

Nautilus

This is a new mob that can be found underwater! And you can feed it with a pufferfish.

Riding the Nautilus

You can put a saddle on it and ride the nautilus in Minecraft. When you ride it, you will get more breathing time and also be able to mine faster.

Armor

You can also equip the nautilus with armor.

Zombified Nautilus

A drowned can ride on it, making it harder for you to live underwater.

Spears

This is a new weapon - the spear in Minecraft! It is a heavy tool, and if you activate and hold it, the player will lower the spear down. The spear will also deal damage depending on acceleration — the faster you move, the more damage it will deal.

Horse and Camel

You can charge on a horse and deal powerful damage to another player.

Spears from different ores

You can also craft a spear from: gold, iron, diamond, netherite, and stone.

Zombie Horse

A zombie horse with a zombie carrying a spear will roam around your world.
