Mod: Shield Strike [26+]

The Shield Bash mod for Minecraft PE (Bedrock) adds a mechanic that lets you break blocks with your shield in your world. Inspired by Hytale, this mod allows you to use your shield not only for defense but also for actively breaking blocks. Features of the "Shield Strike" mod

The main idea behind this Minecraft PE (Bedrock) mod is to give shields a second life. Now they can break blocks faster than a pickaxe, provided certain conditions are met. The mod is fully compatible with other mods, as it does not use the player.json file and does not require experimental settings to be enabled, allowing you to earn achievements in the world.

How to use the ability

To activate "Shield Bash" in Minecraft PE (Bedrock), you need to hold a shield in your left hand (off-hand) and a pickaxe in your right. Important: The pickaxe must be iron or better (though the update added support for stone and copper pickaxes on stone). You must also have at least 10 experience levels. Approach a wall, crouch—and the shield will break the blocks in front of you within a 2x2 radius, while losing its durability.

Compatibility and Requirements

The mod works great in multiplayer and on servers with friends. Different pickaxes have different tiers (levels) of effectiveness when used with a shield. For example, stone and copper tools can break stone, but for harder rocks in Minecraft PE (Bedrock), you’ll need better tools. The animation of using the shield while crouching looks very natural and doesn’t obstruct your view.
