  • The Sieged mod for Minecraft PE (Bedrock) adds a full-fledged medieval warfare system—complete with siege weapons, castles, and troops—to your world. You’ll be able to command catapults, trebuchets, ballistas, and battering rams to destroy the walls of pillager strongholds and reclaim captured lands. The mod does not require cheats or beta features, but it is currently under active development.

Features of the Medieval Cannons mod

This Minecraft PE (Bedrock) mod offers a strategic approach to combat: first, weaken the castle’s defenses with siege weapons from a distance, then lead your soldiers in a direct assault. New structures are generated in the world—Viking castles, pillager forts, captured villages, and training camps. It’s important to increase the simulation distance to 10–12 beforehand, otherwise the catapult projectiles will disappear in mid-air.

    Siege Weapons and Their Use

There are four types of siege weapons available in Minecraft PE (Bedrock). The catapult is a melee weapon that fires in the direction the player is facing. The trebuchet is a long-range machine that fires fireballs and locks onto a target when set up. The ballista fires powerful arrows and is ideal for defense.

The battering ram moves in a straight line and demolishes walls and gates when activated via the Firing Staff. Special components are required to craft each weapon: a catapult arm, a trebuchet arm, and siege supports—the recipes are available in the in-game recipe book.

    Weapon Controls

Once a siege weapon is set up, it cannot be moved (except for the battering ram), so it’s important to plan its position in advance. Interact with the cobblestone block next to the catapult or trebuchet and wait for the reload animation, then use the Staff of Firing to launch it.

The trebuchet has a new feature called Boulder Cam—add a telescope to your inventory to watch the projectile’s flight in real time.

The Structures and System of Castle Sieges

To start a siege in Minecraft PE (Bedrock), find any pillager castle or fort and blow the horn. This will trigger waves of attacking defenders. If you drink the sinister potion before the siege, you’ll increase the difficulty and receive better rewards.

Among the new structures are a Viking castle in snowy biomes, a captured village with burning fields, and training camps where you can recruit fighters through a mini-game with the village general.

    Mobs and allies

Fighting on your side are the Warders—village warriors armed with swords and shields, available in four variants. You can equip them with armor. You can also hire Sentinels—crossbowmen who provide long-range support.

Notable among the enemies are the Executioners, armed with axes and Immortality Totems, and the new Berserker—who flies into a rage when taking damage, increasing his speed, strength, and size. The winner of the first Level 5 siege receives a unique artifact—the Crown of Dominion, which grants 10 hearts.
