Features of the Apples In Trees mod

This mod blends seamlessly into vanilla gameplay, adding new flora and an economy. It includes naturally generated apple trees, rare golden apple trees, a new trader mob, and an advanced fruit growth system. For all script mechanics to work, such as growth and harvesting, the mod requires enabling experimental features in Minecraft PE (Bedrock).

New trees and their spawn

Now, while exploring the Minecraft PE (Bedrock) world, you will encounter regular apple trees in forests and plains. In mountain biomes, you have a chance to find a rare golden apple tree, whose fruits possess special properties. In addition, you can craft saplings of both tree types yourself using crafting recipes to establish your own apple orchard.

Growth and harvesting

The mod introduces a detailed fruit growth system. Apples on trees go through three visual stages: from a sprout to a ripe fruit. When an apple ripens, you can harvest it by simply clicking on it in the Minecraft PE (Bedrock) world. If you want to use apples for decoration, use shears to cut the block with the fruit intact. The system is protected from spam to prevent obtaining extra items.

Apple trader

Together with the trees, a new villager appears in the world — the Apple Wandering Trader. He occasionally spawns in plains and offers unique trades. You can sell him apples, saplings, and wood in exchange for emeralds, or, conversely, buy valuable goods from him, such as golden apples. This adds a new economic aspect to Minecraft PE (Bedrock), connected to gardening.
