Features of the Biome Compass Mod

This mod blends seamlessly into the vanilla gameplay, using archaeology mechanics. To make it work, you need to enable the experimental "Beta API" feature in Minecraft PE (Bedrock). The mod is beginner-friendly, allowing you to craft useful tools with minimal effort. In the future, support for locating custom biomes from other addons is planned.

Crafting the Compass

The first step is crafting the Biome Compass itself. For this, you’ll need fairly accessible resources available early in the game: the power of magnetite, the magic of amethyst, and a bit of science in the form of redstone. Head into the mines, gather the necessary components, and craft your first tool for biome hunting in Minecraft PE (Bedrock).

Finding Ancient Notes

To unlock the full potential of your compass, you’ll need "Torn Ancient Notes." There are two ways to obtain them. The first and primary method is through archaeology, brushing away suspicious sand and gravel. The second method, for adventurers, is to search treasure chests across the Minecraft PE (Bedrock) world, though this approach is rarer.

Restoring the Book

Once you’ve collected enough ancient notes, visit a Cartographer and level him up to Master. After that, he’ll offer a new trade: for a reasonable cost in emeralds and your notes, he will assemble the "Restored Book of the Ancient Traveler." This book is the key to finding any biome in Minecraft PE (Bedrock). It has durability that decreases with use, but you can repair it using the same ancient notes.
