Features of the Runes mod for tools

This mod adds 4 types of runes to Minecraft PE (Bedrock): for armor, combat, tools, and general use. The power of each effect increases with the number of active runes the player has. The mod does not change the vanilla behavior of the game and is designed for maximum compatibility with other add-ons. Items from other mods can also support runes if their creators have marked them as tools.

How the rune system works

To begin your journey as a rune master in Minecraft PE (Bedrock), you will need to complete several steps. First, you must locate rune ruins and rune ore to gather the basic components, and then use a special rune table to create and apply runes.

Ores, Ruins, and Components

To create runes, you will need two key items. In the ruins scattered throughout the world, you will find Slates. These are the basis for future runes. In caves, look for Runic Ore, which drops Rune Shards.

Runic table and the use of runes

The Rune Table is the main craftable block in the mod. Here, you combine a specific type of Tablet with a Rune Fragment to obtain a random rune of that type. On this table, you can also insert the obtained runes into special slots on your items and duplicate them. Each item has its own slots for different types of runes, which are displayed in the inventory.
