Mod: New Hunger [1.21+]

MQ's AppleSkin is a port of the AppleSkin Java mod adapted for Minecraft PE (Bedrock) that improves the display of nutrition and health. The mod shows accurate saturation, fatigue levels and implements natural regeneration where saturation is spent on healing at 1 heart per second, just like in the original Java version.

Features of the mod New Hunger

With this mod in the game of Minecraft PE (Bedrock) there is a new visualization - saturation scale, which was previously available only in Java Edition. Now you can see exactly how satiated you are, when food will start to be spent and how much health you will recover. This is useful for survival and gives you more control over your nutrition.

Saturation and regeneration mechanics

The mod includes realistic health regeneration through saturation: when your food bar is completely full and you have a saturation remaining, you are automatically healed by 1 heart per second. This effect is not visualized in the vanilla version of Minecraft PE (Bedrock), but becomes visible with MQ's AppleSkin. Fatigue levels are also now displayed when running and jumping.

Survival and PvP benefits

In survival and especially in PvP, visual enhancements like this are critical. Now you know when it's best to eat food to regain health, and how effectively your last meal worked. This helps you save resources, strategically align your combat, and understand exactly when satiation can save you from death in the world of Minecraft PE (Bedrock).

Requirements for launching

Important: the Beta APIs experimental feature must be enabled for the add-on to work correctly. The mod uses Script API support, so it can only be run on Minecraft 1.21.90.26 and higher. Without activating the pre-features, the saturation scale and regeneration will not appear.
